Shipping & Returns

Shipping Policy

 

Once your item has been made it’s time for it to be dispatched to you. We use a variety of couriers and Royal Mail so delivery times may vary. 

 

Please note that if items are returned to us by the courier due to them not being collected, we ask that the customer covers the cost of re-delivery.

Most of our items are dispatched within 1-7 working days however please be aware some of our items will be dispatched between 10-15 working days. We sometimes only hold a small stock of certain items so when demand is high we might need to order from our suppliers which will add to the dispatch time. If there is a small delay on your order you will be contacted via E-mail to let you know. Please also be aware that dispatch times can also increase at busy times of the year such as Christmas. On some items you will have the option to upgrade to a rush order, ideal if you’ve left things a little last minute! This will be shown when ordering but any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us!

Dispatch times will be shown when ordering & you must tick the box at checkout to say you’ve agreed to them when ordering. All delivery times are an estimate and as such Attention to Detail cannot be held responsible for orders that may arrive late. Refunds or compensation are not given if an item is delayed.

Any late deliveries must be reported within 14 days of your dispatch/order complete email as following this time we may not be able to trace them.

​

We recommend ordering in plenty of time if the item is a gift for an occasion to allow for any unforeseen courier or other delays.

Return & Exchange Policy
 
Personalised Items

 

Personalised items are handmade to order & created to the customers requirements. Unfortunately, due to the nature of personalised products all of these items are non-refundable. If the item has arrived damaged or incorrect then we will replace the item as long as we are at fault. Any damages/errors must be reported within 5 working days of the item being delivered. Please also include images of any damaged packaging so we can take this up with the courier. If you encounter any issues please E-mail us at attentiontodetailuk@gmail.com

 

Please do not destroy or dispose of an item even if it is faulty unless instructed to do so by us, as this will affect the likelihood of a refund being issued. Please also note that because we have to open up packaging on many items to personalise them, the box may have imperfections. Some items will be sent in their packaging, however it is your decision if you wish to use said packaging for gift giving, we cannot be held responsible for the condition of any products outer packaging.

If a return is agreed by us, it must be returned using a Royal Mail 2nd Class Signed For Service. All returns must be returned within 7 days of the date they were authorised on. Any returns are the customers responsibility until the item(s) have arrived safely back to us. Refunds, postage reimbursement or replacements will only be issued once the item(s) have arrived back to us. You must keep a copy of the postage receipt just in case you need to make a claim with Royal Mail in event of lost/delayed items.

On items that do not come pre-assembled, any damages must be reported upon arrival of your goods. On items that are not pre-assembled, these must be in their original packaging & not assembled for any refund or replacement to be considered.

Any authorised refunds will be processed within 14 days & credited back via your method of payment.

Non-Personalised Items
 

For non-personalised items we are happy to accept returns and give a full refund if the item is returned to us in its original condition and packaging within 14 working days of receiving the item. The customer is responsible for paying for the return postage unless the item arrived damaged. Any damages/errors must be reported within 5 working days of the item being delivered.
